Newfoundland dogs became a passion, a commitment to strive to produce healthy happy newfies. We are now breeding to produce show quality newfies that we can exhibit in the ring, of course there are always a few newfie puppies that we can share with others who are committed to making a Newf part of their family. We are members of the Newfoundland Club of America, the North Central Newfoundland Club and the American Kennel Club. We are actively involved in AKC conformation shows as well as water work and other competitive events.
Our names are Janet and Jerry Cohen. From our first litter in 1998 we kept a puppy we called Jordan (Ch. Goldcoast¹s here comes Mr. Jordan) Jordan is a four time best in show winner. The records he holds are: He is the fifth most winning Newf of breed wins of all time, and holds the record of 5 straight years in the top twenty. In your search for a puppy or older dog, it is not only important to know who has puppies available but the relationship with breeder is as important as the puppy itself.
Moonsail is committed to breeding Newfoundlands that are sound in mind and body. We strive to produce Newfs that are capable of competing in obedience, conformation and the work they were historically bred to do. We feel that our most important job as breeders however, is to educate current and prospective Newf owners about the breed. Please feel free to email us with any questions you may have about Newfoundlands.
TidesPointe Newfoundlands is a family kennel, run by Wendy & Steve Aubert and our daughters. We live along the shores of Lake Michigan in Holland, MI. Since 2000 we have been “adopted” by 10 wonderful Newfs, Mia, Dixie, Vinnie, Mariska, Zephyr, Kendall, Bristol, Lenox, Nolan & Avery . Conformation, draft work, water rescue and backpacking, Lure coursing are just a few of the activities we enjoy with them.
My emphasis has always been to raise and keep the strongest females and breed them to carefully selected stud dogs. Considering that Hawaii is a remote place for breeding Newfoundlands, my foremost concern is the health aspect of the animals.
Our Newfoundlands are part of our family, raised in our home as our pets and family members. I got my first Newfie in 1996 and have included them in my home since that time. Our goals is to raise high quality dogs and puppies and find them loving lifetime homes.
Our dogs are a huge part of our life and very much a part the family, so it is extremely important to us that our puppies go to homes where they will be loved and cherished, just as they are here. The goal of our kennel is to remain small, breeding only a few quality litters each year. We strive to produce healty, sound, beautifully moving dogs with excellent temperaments.
Here at Denali Farm, I focus on healthy, sweet dogs. Health clearances are done on the parents before they are bred. Before the female is bred, she has most or all of the following health clearances: OFA hips, elbows, thyroid, heart (cleared by a cardiologist), eyes CERFed and Cystinuria clearance. I do everything I can to make sure that puppies are genetically healthy for a good start in life.
North Fork’s Newfoundland puppies receive lots of tender loving care and are well socialized before they go to their new homes. Puppies are checked by our veterinarian, wormed, and given their first shots. We have blacks, browns and Landseers. Our commitment is always to better the breed.
Newfies and children are like peanut butter and jelly. Their instincts for special needs children are magical. After, over 2 decades of raising Newfies, we are more convinced than ever, Newfoundlands are the most amazing breed. What started with our quest to find a companion for Nathanael has ended with us placing extraordinary dogs in extraordinary homes. We are more dedicated than ever to producing healthy Newfoundlands, with great temperments.
We take breeding seriously and because we of this we are sucessful at getting our girls pregnant and lowering puppy mortality. We are a family business and plan for Watchbear’s to be around for generations to come.
Welcome! I have had Newfoundlands for 13 + years, but have had dogs all of my life. Currently, I have 4 newfies, Tux, Vinny, Naomi & Cash. Please write me with questions about my dogs or just newfoundlands in general. I am a member of the Newfoundland Club of America, The Newfoundland Club of Alaska and the Newfoundland Club of Seattle. I am looking forward to the years to come with these amazing dogs.
I am dedicated to ensuring a pup that leaves our home is played with, loved, and taught basic training and interaction skills. I health test my adult Newfs and research their pedigree to ensure a healthy pup with a gentle Newf temperament for your family. Our goal is to provide a great companion with good health and gentle temperament. The puppies are all AKC purebred registered Newfoundlands.
The primary purpose for every litter I breed is to bring forth the Newfs for myself, to be part of my family, to love and to show, and to continue the breeding plan I have developed. Every litter which is bred is price-ranged based upon the pedigree involved with the sire and dam, Quality and scarcity. When the pups are about 8 weeks old they are professionally evaluated as individuals.
Strawberry Mountain is located in the “Heart of Arizona” on six acres. We are in the midst of pine trees and cooler weather. We are east of Sedona about 50 miles. In Strawberry Arizona. We raise our Newfoundlands to be the sweetest and most lovable of family members. Our Newfies are free to come in and out of the house thru several “extra large” doggie doors.
The health and temperaments of our Newfoundlands are a priority in our breeding program. Our goal is to enjoy our dogs and produce healthy puppies with the true Newfy temperment.

Established in 1972, Mooncusser Newfoundlands has been producing American Kennel Club (AKC) registered Newfoundlands of outstanding type and temperament. We do not breed to produce puppies, but rather to better the breed. Every breeding is carefully planned taking into consideration temperament, health, and conformation.
Peggy and Dave Helming acquired their first Newfoundland in 1965 and began their breeding program in 1968 under the kennel prefix Pouch Cove. They have bred and/or owned approximately 275 champions, including many National Specialty winners, Working Group winners and Best in Show winners in the USA and also around the world. Their dogs have also excelled in Obedience trials and in NCA sanctioned working events. Fourteen have earned their NCA Versatility titles obtaining AKC Championship, NCA Water Rescue and NCA Draft Dog titles. Peggy and Dave were recognized as the 2003 AKC Working Dog Breeders of the Year given their many accomplishments with the Pouch Cove breeding program.
We choose to produce no more than 2 or 3 litters per year, enabling us to focus on the quality of our breeding program and the raising of our puppies. All of our puppies are hand raised in our home with tremendous attention to their every need and total care.
