My goals in breeding have always been to produce sound, healthy, sweet, beautiful dogs who could do everything the Newfoundland was originally bred to do. To that end I exhibit my dogs in conformation, obedience, draft and water and have dabbled in tracking and agility. All my potential breeding stock is screened for the known common diseases in Newfoundlands and I encourage my puppy owners to do the same, whether they intend to exhibit their dogs or not.
Our foundation stock has predominantly been Mooncusser and Pouch Cove lines. We enjoy answering all of your inquiries, and are available to have you visit our kennels if ever you’re just debating between a Newfie and another breed.

Working with them in therapy, carting, water work, conformation and obedience. Our Love abounds. No two Newfs are the same in looks, personality or ability. They are all special and working with them allows me to build on each ones strengths and facilitate the best human newfie relationship possible.

Before the female is bred, she has most or all of the following health clearances: OFA hips, elbows, thyroid, heart (cleared by a cardiologist), eyes CERFed and Cystinuria clearance. Seabrook Newfoundlands began in 1980 when our first Newf came into our lives, a charming girl named Holly. That simple thought, “Gee, it would be neat to have a Newf,” grew into a kennel and breeding program that has spanned over thirty years and produced over 100 AKC champions. The Newfoundland Breed is one we have loved over the years.Because we have a small breeding program we are able to enjoy our Newfs and have them with us wherever we are. One of our main importance is health, without this their beauty, temperament and loyalty only become heartache down the road. The other is temperament which is why we love this breed! We strive to improve our Newfs and work our best to provide you with a well rounded Puppy.
