Rosewood is our home and home to our wonderful Newfoundlands. We are located on the shores of Skaneateles Lake in beautiful upstate New York. The lake is one of the cleanest bodies of water in the country and provides hours of fun for the dogs. We have had newfies since 1987. They have been a large part of our family over the years in show and tells’, carting demonstrations and even school plays. Many of them have earned draft, water and obedience titles. They are truly a versatile breed, that is why we feel that this is a wonderful breed to be loved and cherished.
Our names are Janet and Jerry Cohen. From our first litter in 1998 we kept a puppy we called Jordan (Ch. Goldcoast¹s here comes Mr. Jordan) Jordan is a four time best in show winner. The records he holds are: He is the fifth most winning Newf of breed wins of all time, and holds the record of 5 straight years in the top twenty. In your search for a puppy or older dog, it is not only important to know who has puppies available but the relationship with breeder is as important as the puppy itself.
Newfoundland dogs became a passion, a commitment to strive to produce healthy happy newfies. We are now breeding to produce show quality newfies that we can exhibit in the ring, of course there are always a few newfie puppies that we can share with others who are committed to making a Newf part of their family. We are members of the Newfoundland Club of America, the North Central Newfoundland Club and the American Kennel Club. We are actively involved in AKC conformation shows as well as water work and other competitive events.

My wife and I raise our purebred Newfoundlands in the warm sandy lowlands of South Jersey. We are very passionate about this beautiful breed, and every single one of our dogs we consider our personal companion!! With a 5 acre homestead offering plenty of room to run or roam, we do our best to give our dogs a “puppy paradise”!! We are very concerned that the characteristics of the Newfoundland breed are preserved: Dignity, Loyalty, Gentleness, and Protectiveness. We are also concerned about the heath issues this large breed faces. Our dogs are scanned for Hip & Elbow Dysplasia. We supply our dogs with nutritional supplements such as NuVet Labs, and make sure they get plenty of exercise!!
The Newfoundland Breed is one we have loved over the years.Because we have a small breeding program we are able to enjoy our Newfs and have them with us wherever we are. One of our main importance is health, without this their beauty, temperament and loyalty only become heartache down the road. The other is temperament which is why we love this breed! We strive to improve our Newfs and work our best to provide you with a well rounded Puppy.
We have owned and been involved in Newfoundlands since 1983. We actively show in conformation and obedience, and are members of The Newfoundland Club Of America, Heart Of America Newfoundland Club, Old West Newfoundland Club and The Arkansas Kennel Club. We breed for type and soundness. All our dogs are x-rayed and evaluated by OFA for hip and elbow conformation.
We take breeding seriously and because we of this we are sucessful at getting our girls pregnant and lowering puppy mortality. We are a family business and plan for Watchbear’s to be around for generations to come.
Newfoundlands are strong dogs with outstanding temperaments. They are very calm and gentle and easy to train. The Newfoundland comes in a variety of colors including: Black, Brown, Landseer (Black & White) & Gray. We breed for soundness, temperament and type.

All of our dogs and puppies are raised in our home with lots of love and attention from not only our family but lots of friends and extended family as well. Even though we do not show our newfies, we are committed to creating puppies of show quality and genetic excellence so that they may bring our puppy families joy and love for their entire lifetime.
Welcome! I have had Newfoundlands for 13 + years, but have had dogs all of my life. Currently, I have 4 newfies, Tux, Vinny, Naomi & Cash. Please write me with questions about my dogs or just newfoundlands in general. I am a member of the Newfoundland Club of America, The Newfoundland Club of Alaska and the Newfoundland Club of Seattle. I am looking forward to the years to come with these amazing dogs.
We live in the quite town of North Haverhill NH.Our love for this breed started with our first Newfoundland “Nakita” back in 1999 and has grown more and more every day. We decided to breed Newfoundlands to better the breed, we have done endless research, talked to breeders, and am sure that Luna and Tucker’s line will produce quality puppies with great temperaments.
We are a small home-based breeder located in Pine River, Minnesota. We strive for solid, healthy, happy pups. We breed for health and conformation and follow AKC standards. Our goal is to produce well structured and solidly built newfs with that famous “blocky” head and solid build. And of course those sweet dispositions newfies are known for!
We are striving to produce quality purebred AKC dogs. Our goal is to breed for soundness, temperament, longevity and intelligence. We have Champions in the breed ring as well as obedience arena. We transplanted to Georgia, an hour east of Atlanta. We now have a large pond for swiming and boating. The dogs love it. Health testing of our breeding stock is very important to insure the continued good health of our breed.
Heart of Gold Newfoundlands is committed to ethically breeding healthy, sound AKC registered Newfoundland Dogs. All puppies are placed in pre screened, responsible, loving homes on Limited AKC registration with a spay/neuter contract, a written health warranty and are current on vaccinations and deworming.
It is extremely important to Heart of Gold Newfoundlands that all of our puppy placements are permanent. Our puppies must never end up in a shelter or rescue.
We are located in Eastern North Dakota. I am a member of the Newfoundland Club of America and I qualify to be a NCA breeders list breeder.
Killian’s Hillside Newfoundland’s is located approximately 45 minutes northeast of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. We are a very small scale breeder. Our newfs live in our home as part of our family. With both of our children having completed college and moved out, we have more than filled the “empty nest” with our “Gentle Giant’s”. Our puppies are born and raised in the warmth of our home.
Our goal in breeding is two-fold: temperament and appearance . While I believe our pups certainly have show dog potential, I don’t presume to know enough about that area of dog ownership. So, when we pick our Neo’s for breeding, we are choosing dogs that please us (their looks) and have a great temperament.
