I am currently a member in good standing of The Newfoundland Club of America. I spend many hours everyday loving, training and caring for my family of Newfs. The rewards are great. Working with them in therapy, carting, water work, conformation and obedience. Our Love abounds. No two Newfs are the same in looks, personality or ability. They are all special and working with them allows me to build on each ones strengths and facilitate the best human newfie relationship possible.
Seabrook Newfoundlands began in 1980 when our first Newf came into our lives, a charming girl named Holly. That simple thought, “Gee, it would be neat to have a Newf,” grew into a kennel and breeding program that has spanned over thirty years and produced over 100 AKC champions. Seabrook Newfoundlands is dedicated to breeding Newfoundlands that are sound in structure and temperament.
AKC Newfoundland pups lovingly raised on our blueberry farm in the heart of the Ozarks. Our newfies have joints screened by OFA, hearts certified, and are DNA cystinuria screened.

Newfies and children are like peanut butter and jelly. Their instincts for special needs children are magical. After, over 2 decades of raising Newfies, we are more convinced than ever, Newfoundlands are the most amazing breed. What started with our quest to find a companion for Nathanael has ended with us placing extraordinary dogs in extraordinary homes. We are more dedicated than ever to producing healthy Newfoundlands, with great temperments.
Our primary objectives are to produce Newfs with pleasant disposition, exceptional health, without losing their natural working instincts, and physical appeal. Our facilities are located approximately one hour east of Cincinnati, Ohio. We do not breed for profit, all income received is directly used to care for the Newfs and their facilities. We breed purely for the love of the Newfs and the goal to produce health and longevity in the breed.

We are striving to produce quality purebred AKC dogs. Our goal is to breed for soundness, temperament, longevity and intelligence. We have Champions in the breed ring as well as obedience arena. We transplanted to Georgia, an hour east of Atlanta. We now have a large pond for swiming and boating. The dogs love it. Health testing of our breeding stock is very important to insure the continued good health of our breed.
Our Newfoundland’s are our companions, our pride and joy. It’s very difficult to go on a vacation without at least taking two, unless we vacation over seas. We exhibit in confirmation and working events, both in the United States and in Canada. We will always keep Temperament, Health and Working abilities a priority. We are not a kennel, our dogs are our kids. They are part of our daily life and are our life!
Rowens Newfoundlands are bred with consideration for temperament, health and conformation to the standard for the breed. When we place a dog with its new owner, our first concern is that the dog will be properly cared for with nutritious food, clean water, veterinary care including immunizations, personal attention and training, to develop the Newf into a dog that owners can enjoy owning. We feel responsible for every puppy that we bring into the world and should an owner of one of our dogs no longer wish to or be able to keep it, we require that the new owner agree to return the dog to us.
Newfoundland dogs became a passion, a commitment to strive to produce healthy happy newfies. We are now breeding to produce show quality newfies that we can exhibit in the ring, of course there are always a few newfie puppies that we can share with others who are committed to making a Newf part of their family. We are members of the Newfoundland Club of America, the North Central Newfoundland Club and the American Kennel Club. We are actively involved in AKC conformation shows as well as water work and other competitive events.
Rosewood is our home and home to our wonderful Newfoundlands. We are located on the shores of Skaneateles Lake in beautiful upstate New York. The lake is one of the cleanest bodies of water in the country and provides hours of fun for the dogs. We have had newfies since 1987. They have been a large part of our family over the years in show and tells’, carting demonstrations and even school plays. Many of them have earned draft, water and obedience titles. They are truly a versatile breed, that is why we feel that this is a wonderful breed to be loved and cherished.

Dan & Marylou Zimmerman, breeders of Voyager Newfoundlands, have shared their lives with Newfoundlands since 1992. Zimmerman’s (now including children Sam & Sarah) are convinced that raising healthy, tempermentally sound show and working Newfoundlands was a goal they would like to strive for. After much research, a pup was obtained from mentor breeder Denise Castonquay, breeder of CastaNewf Kennels in British Columbia.
We are a small home-based breeder located in Pine River, Minnesota. We strive for solid, healthy, happy pups. We breed for health and conformation and follow AKC standards. Our goal is to produce well structured and solidly built newfs with that famous “blocky” head and solid build. And of course those sweet dispositions newfies are known for!
We believe it is our responsibility to breed only when it is for the betterment of the Newfoundland. Our breeding philosophy is that we do not compromise soundness, excellence of type or of temperament to attain beauty-but a beautiful dog is a joy to behold and to own!
The health and temperaments of our Newfoundlands are a priority in our breeding program. Our goal is to enjoy our dogs and produce healthy puppies with the true Newfy temperment.
