Newfies and children are like peanut butter and jelly. Their instincts for special needs children are magical. After, over 2 decades of raising Newfies, we are more convinced than ever, Newfoundlands are the most amazing breed. What started with our quest to find a companion for Nathanael has ended with us placing extraordinary dogs in extraordinary homes. We are more dedicated than ever to producing healthy Newfoundlands, with great temperments.
Our names are David and Cheri Marsh. We are a family owned kennel located in Hillsboro, Kansas specialized in raising Newfoundland dogs.
The health and temperaments of our Newfoundlands are a priority in our breeding program. Our goal is to enjoy our dogs and produce healthy puppies with the true Newfy temperment.
Our goal is the betterment of the breed. We began our research of the breed some 22 years ago and waited for a year and a half for our first Newf puppy. She was our foundation bitch and went on the become a Versatile Newfoundland, VN CH Waidin’s Makepeace Addie, CD, DD, WRD, CGC.
Dan & Marylou Zimmerman, breeders of Voyager Newfoundlands, have shared their lives with Newfoundlands since 1992. Zimmerman’s (now including children Sam & Sarah) are convinced that raising healthy, tempermentally sound show and working Newfoundlands was a goal they would like to strive for. After much research, a pup was obtained from mentor breeder Denise Castonquay, breeder of CastaNewf Kennels in British Columbia.
We choose to produce no more than 2 or 3 litters per year, enabling us to focus on the quality of our breeding program and the raising of our puppies. All of our puppies are hand raised in our home with tremendous attention to their every need and total care.
Our primary objectives are to produce Newfs with pleasant disposition, exceptional health, without losing their natural working instincts, and physical appeal. Our facilities are located approximately one hour east of Cincinnati, Ohio. We do not breed for profit, all income received is directly used to care for the Newfs and their facilities. We breed purely for the love of the Newfs and the goal to produce health and longevity in the breed.
Our dogs have competed in Obedience, Water Rescue and Draft Work. Coming from a long term and varied experience with training all breeds in the areas of functional obedience for pets, competitive obedience and working events with Newfs, to training of Service and Hearing dogs, we can offer our puppy buyers reliable advice and help with any problem solving they may need.

Landseer Newfoundlands
My emphasis has always been to raise and keep the strongest females and breed them to carefully selected stud dogs. Considering that Hawaii is a remote place for breeding Newfoundlands, my foremost concern is the health aspect of the animals.
Abbie Hill is located on 4 acres in beautiful Mt. Vernon, Maine. Our Newfoundlands are a proud part of our family that live with us in our home. We have dedicated our time and love to these gentle giants. We belong to the NCA and NCNE. We’re a small show home and occasionally will have a planned breeding.
Eagle Ridge Newfs is family-owned and operated right here in Maine. We are blessed to be home for our children and our dogs all of the time. We pride ourselves in providing dogs with exceptional health, temperament and loyalty. With an eye for the big bear look that is becoming harder to find, a pedigree that spans back 5 decades with consistently great health and a temperament that compliments the breed, we feel confident that our dogs will bring you years of joy and companionship.
Our goal in breeding is two-fold: temperament and appearance . While I believe our pups certainly have show dog potential, I don’t presume to know enough about that area of dog ownership. So, when we pick our Neo’s for breeding, we are choosing dogs that please us (their looks) and have a great temperament.
